Village — Starting Zone & Generalist Trader
The Village is your first operational area in Road to Vostok. Located in Area 05, Finland, it houses your starting shelter attic and the Generalist trader — your primary economic hub. Learn the layout, loot spawns, and bandit ambush patterns to maximize your early-game survival efficiency.

Points of Interest
Starting Attic Shelter
Your initial spawn point. Contains your starter kit, basic storage, and the workbench for weapon maintenance.
Generalist Trader
Located in the basement area near the starting attic. Primary buyer of misc salvage, seller of basic supplies.
Residential Structures
Two-story houses with high-density loot: cabinets, nightstands, fridges. Primary farming area for food and clothes.
Bandit Hotspots
~14 bandit corpses scattered throughout. Check behind closed doors — bandits use ambush protocols and crouch in corners.
Medical Cabinets
6 medical cabinet spawns across the Village. Low chance for IFAKs, common for basic bandages and painkillers.
Fridges & Freezers
Primary source of caloric food items. Respawn periodically. Fish, canned goods, and packaged drinks.
Fishing Spot
Water area behind the Village cabin. Use fishing rod to catch Pike and other species for barter tasks.
Shipyard Entry Point
Designated transit route from Village to Shipyard. Secure this path before making runs to the Doctor trader.

Extraction Points
The Village has designated extraction points that return you to the safe shelter zone. Unlike Vostok, extracting from Area 05 maps is relatively forgiving — you keep all stored items in your shelter.
Village Exit → Shelter
Primary extraction. Returns you to your shelter attic with all extracted loot intact.
Village → Shipyard Transit
Path connecting to the Shipyard. Requires clearing of hostiles. One-way transit between Area 05 maps.
The Generalist Trader
The Generalist
Located in the Village basement area, near the starting attic. The primary economic hub for all of Area 05.

The 100 Rule — Village Looting Strategy
Due to strict inventory weight limits, veteran players employ the "100 Rule": only extract items with a trader value exceeding 100€. The AKS-74U from bandit corpses yields ~240€ — making it the highest-priority item in the Village. Ignore low-value clutter and focus on rifle extractions. One AKS-74U is worth roughly 60+ low-tier items in storage space.
