Shipyard — Doctor Trader & Industrial Loot
The Shipyard is an industrial zone in Area 05 featuring vertical architecture, factory rooms, and a submarine area. It houses the Doctor trader in a basement facility — the exclusive source of IFAKs, Antibiotics, and advanced medical supplies. The route from Village to Shipyard must be secured before you can reliably access medical pharmacology.

Zone Overview
The Shipyard is a significant departure from the Village's residential geometry. Built around an industrial waterfront, it features multi-story factory buildings, open cargo storage areas, and underground/basement sections. The architecture rewards players who master vertical movement and careful acoustic management — the enclosed metal structures amplify sound dramatically.
The Doctor trader's basement location creates a localized economy within Area 05. Players must balance the risk of the Village→Shipyard transit against the critical value of medical supplies. In later stages of the game, you'll need Antibiotics and IFAKs to treat severe afflictions that organic loot cannot address.
Points of Interest
Doctor Trader — Basement
Deep within the Shipyard's basement. The only reliable source of IFAKs (500€), Antibiotics (100€), Painkillers, and advanced medical. Reach via interior stairs.
Factory Buildings
Multi-story industrial structures. Dense concentration of industrial salvage, tool spawns, and equipment. Verticality is key — check upper floors.
Submarine Dock
Exterior waterfront area. Open sightlines but exposed position. Contains unique loot containers not found in the Village. High-risk due to exposure.
Cargo Containers
Open and closed cargo containers scattered throughout. Some are searchable — industrial components, toolkits, weapon parts.
Bandit Presence
Bandits patrol the factory interiors and cargo areas. They use the same ambush and auditory tracking behaviors as Village bandits. Metal walls amplify footstep sounds.
Acoustic Environment
The Shipyard's metal architecture creates significant echo. Sounds travel further and in unexpected directions. Move slowly and pause frequently.
The Doctor Trader
The Doctor — Basement Level
Located deep in the Shipyard's basement, accessible via interior stairwells. This is the only reliable source of specialized medical pharmacology in Area 05. Securing the Village→Shipyard transit is mandatory for serious players.
Sells (Critical Items)
- • IFAK (500€) — Comprehensive trauma treatment
- • Antibiotics (100€) — Infection mitigation
- • Painkillers (100€) — Visual/audio stabilization
- • Splint (75€) — Fracture treatment
Why the Doctor Matters
- • Organic medical spawns are insufficient
- • IFAK treats: Fracture, Bleeding, Burn, Rupture
- • Antibiotics cure infections
- • Required for prolonged Area 05 runs
Verticality & Navigation Tips
The Shipyard's industrial architecture rewards vertical play. Unlike the Village's flat residential structures, the Shipyard has multiple floors, interior catwalks, exterior ladders, and basement levels. Understanding how to move between levels safely is critical.
Factory Catwalks
Upper-level catwalks give superior sightlines over the cargo areas below. Use them for overwatch but watch for bandits ascending stairs behind you.
Basement Access
The Doctor trader is in the basement. Stair access may be contested by bandits. Clear from top-down when possible.
Submarine Dock Exposure
Open waterfront area with minimal cover. Sound carries across water. Approach via interior routes when possible.
Acoustic Management
Metal surfaces amplify and echo sounds unpredictably. A bandit two floors up may sound directly above you. Stop and listen frequently.
Extraction Points
Shipyard Exit → Shelter
Primary extraction from the Shipyard. Returns to your shelter with all extracted loot.
Shipyard → Highway Transit
Connects Shipyard to Highway map. Longer route, higher bandit density. Used for progressing through Area 05.
